Article marketing or forum posting?

Which works better?

Article posting + resource box

Or Forum posting + signature

When you post forum you get instant feedback and do not need to wait for approval. But of course not all forums are dofollow.

In article marketing you can submit article to many article directories.

So which method do you think works better?

Article networking is not a good idea. the only thing you are doing is making an other site popular with YOUR content. A better idea is to write an article on your own blog/website you will get full advantages that way. If you want to write an article thats not enough related to you website, just set up a quick blog or free web site with the article, and link it to your other website you want to promote.

what i have found the best method is create good articles and submit to ezine, article base etc...the resource box shud have ur links and you can also posts these contents on your blog/site...

ur bound to get good traffic.

Oooh, really tough question because I use both so much but I'm going to go with article marketing. Forum posting is good but it requires so much time and energy.

I think you should post articles in your own blog rather than in article directories because article sites are losing its importance.

Always prefer the article marketing even though it takes time to yield the results a good article in top article directory gives loads of traffic as well as SE benefits.

I think this fundamentally fails to understand what article marketing is all about. It's about inbound links and potential traffic for your own site.

I think article marketing with your signatures and links is a good way to get traffic, it seems to work best for me when I set up a new website and wanted to drive traffic I worked very well.

Article marketing is better because if you have your chosen keywords in the article, it may rank high in the search engines.

The big difference between article submissions and forums is time. You can post links on articles right away, while with forums, you must reach a specific post count to be able to post.

It shouldn't be either, or. You should do both. You should always utilize as many different marketing methods as possible to promote your website.

Article Posting is much more better than Forum posting. But looking both, forum and article postings are good in creating backlinks.

For me both are important, but if you will tell me to choose one then I will go for article marketing. Article marketing can boost your website's rankings and gain more traffic.

it is good to do both, whether submit articles to article directories and also forum posting, i doing it everyday, it never harm you
