But as far as the brand vs keyword domain debate goes, there are benefits to each. It's wrong to say that branding-oriented domains will always be better, and it's wrong to say that keyword domains are better.
In some cases, you don't need a branded domain. Webmaster-Forum.net did great with a keyword domain, and with a hyphen even. And when this place was located at internet-marketing-research.net, we had awesome traffic, PR8, and a domain with two hyphens and a .net.
I think in the big scheme of things, domains mean a lot less than many people would think.
