I just want to know how the forums help to promote website. And how i can maximum utilize forum.

Forums work on a couple of different levels. 1) When you help people, a lot of times they will click on a link in your signature either out of curiousity to learn more about the person that just helped them, or your link will take them to another site that has more info about what you just said, helping them even more. 2) Signatures have link value for SEO purposes. So the more forum postings, the more sigs, the more links.

The thing about forums for driving traffic to your site is it has to be natural. If you're posting just to get people to come to your site, it will show, and end up producing the opposite effect. Posting a lot in a forum is a quick way (months) to get a rep as an expert...or just a really nice person who likes to help others, which is probably more valuable since it appeals to a much broader audience rather than a specific niche.

Number 2 above is the real deal. Meaningful contribution to forums will get you quality back links via your signature links and boost your page rank. Unfortunately for me, most of the good forms are filled with my colleagues (not my target audience), so I rarely get good business traffic clicking through my signature links.

May i asked, how do you make your signature in one straight line or one row beucae i need to do the same?

Don't hit enter after you type your first URL in. Just use the space bar to seprate both links or add a special character like i did.

You don't have to do this though. People try to make there sig links look attractive but yet follow the given forums signature rules. 2 rows or 1 row, it does not matter really. If the visitor is interested he or she will click on it.

forum marketing works great as long as you wont spam, become helpful to others.

once you become a veteran authority member in the forum other would pay more attention to your sig links.

some people i know rely mostly on forum marketing for their websites/business (to mention because of the category).

I agree. Most beginner IMers overestimate the use of forum signatures. That is why we see so many come, drop a link, go and disappear from the forum. Some people simply do not understand that Forum posting goes far beyond dropping a link. If you participate, provide useful information, share in your knowledge and collaborate in the threads, people will appreciate it and respect you. Respect earns you authority in the matter. And when you have respect and authority people feel more comfortable to do business with you and buy from you. So, forum participation is important, not just for backlink building but for promotional and networking purposes.

Well if you were an SEO expert and provided really good information on this forum, then you'd not only end up with some great backlinks....but you'd also pick up some business from people along the way.

Simply advertising for your business isn't going to be enough, you're going to need to show people that you know what you're talking about (no matter the niche)

You can have high traffics if the users like your site.
You can also get a lot of information in forum.
You can get a lots of backlinks for seo purposes..

It is one of the SEO Specialist do in order for them to create traffic through their site. But some or mostly of the forum site didn't allow suck link on their signature or post it in the actual forum. That maybe consider as spamming..

That will help.. But just don't provide links on your signature or directly post in there.. That may be consider as spamming..

Find a rather large forum in your targeted niche.

Contact the forum owner and tell him/her that you would like to sponsor a contest.

Have the forum owner send out a mass email to the members telling about the contest.

Give the forum owner a couple of free items to review.

Everyone is happy - the forum membership gets the chance to win something, the owner gets some free stuff, and you get your site and products promoted.
