Can money be really made online?

Hey guys.I wanna know if its really possible to make as much money online that I won't have to work on my job anymore?

You have to be able to offer some sort of service that people need.

I have to spend money on buying a domain name and hosting,etc...and might be a lil money on pay per click search engines.Anything else?And after I spend all that,can I make enough money?

At the end of the day, there's no easy money to be made anywhere - online or offline. You still need to put serious work into it all - and maintain that. There are great success stories out there - but more often than not, these people have sweated buckets and put more effort into their online work in one day than many people put into a a salraied post in a week. Success is 1% inspiration, 99% perspiration, as they say.

Generally, as a rule of thumb, you get out what you put in.

You can earn money with a website hosted at a free host. A domain is better though. My first website was hosted at Tripod, made about $100 a month. That was 5 years ago, but I guess it's still possible.

I think you need to work out your USP. 'Computers' is not unique.

Yep, definitely possible to make a living from the internet, I know a few people who do. I am not one of them, I work a full time job, and always plan on working a full time job. Even if I started making lots of money, I would keep my job, as the internet can be a fickle industry.

There's a lot of truth to this, doing something you feel passionate about and feel that others will benefit from is a good start in deciding how to begin a business. If you can figure out an angle.. something that you see is needed and feel that you could give to others that they really need. I bet if you thought about this, you'd come up with the perfect plan.

To be successful online you must be able to provide a service or product that meets peoples needs in a certain way. Find out or decide what you feel your good at it and do sme creative thinking. The best minds on the internet came up with a product that someone needs OR solves a problem. Find that problem...help people....I have been doing it for several years now...
