Email folders

I have subscriptions of marketing newsletter in my email. I did not have time to check them for a while. When I opened my email this morning, it was from all sorts of senders. I have created folders for each topic. How can I make the emails go directly to the folders I created?

You create rules to filter the emails into the folders. e.g. Organize Outlook Emails

Of course I don't know which mail account you are using, however, here's how you can do with Gmail. It is so convenient.

1) Go to Settings

2) Click on Filters Tab

3) If you created filters before you will see them and can edit. However, in any case you can Create New Filter

4) The next step allows you some customization. You can choose email address, also customize up to "subject line", "words", etc. All are optional, but you have to choose at least one criteria:

5) Go to the next step. More options here. To have mails skip inbox you just need to check "Skip inbox", and choose folder where you want it to go. You can create folders there as well. Also you can move all the previous email messages with the same criteria to the defined folder right there.

And also there are other filter options, which you can choose.

It is indeed very helpful for me too. I always use it .
