Buying Traffic, where do you buy from?
I'm interested in buying visitors somehow from a marketing company to help market a mens health product which is semi adult. Who do you recommend buying from and do you have any tips?
thanks

Firstly, I think buying traffic is all about wasting bandwidth and money. It usually means people are paid to click on the links provided and visit the targeted site. People that click on links do not care what they click on but how many clicks they have generated per hour, day, or week. So basically the traffic you get from this source is irrelevant.

Yeah, I would not buy traffic, those are usually false.
However, if you place ads on men's health websites then men will see the ads, follow them if they are interested, and buy your product.

IF you decide to buy traffic, first buy their minium traffic, to test it out.

Why buy traffic if you can get it for free?
If you DO buy traffic... which I don't recommend, at least track your results

I generally don't buy traffic because of all the fake hits that can be generated by many scripts out there that make it appear that you site is on fire, but in reality it's invisable to the masses.
I do use traffic exchanges, and one of the best I've found is:

Dont buy traffic you will no doubt get ripped off its not unusual in one days email to recieve an offer of 1 million hits to your site for next to nothing, along with a get paid to surf ad and best of all an auto surfing program for when you get paid to surf while you sleep. Sounds like there may be a tiny chance of you paying for nothing there.

Yes please post the information, or where we can put out PRs.
As for buying traffic, I'll tell you my opinion. I used to own a web site that sold traffic. I sold the site because I felt that it was a very misleading business. Do not buy from any web sites selling traffic. It is not worth it. I used to use my own traffic, but it NEVER yielded any results what-so-ever.
If you want to spend money on advertising your site:
buy traffic from big search engines
buy from PPC search engines
buy ad space on popular/relevant web sites
make your site SE friendly

Google's Adwords program seems to be better than most of the other pay per click schemes.
