Now a days there are many ways to promote a blog .I also use different ways like that article writing ,blog commenting and ect .I have not use Blog directory submission .Do you use Blog directory submission for promotion of blog ,??

Hi,

The techniques which you are telling are not different ways to promote (article writing & blog commenting), I would also suggest to promote the blog through blog directories, it will help to bring traffic to your blog.

I'm not sure about the traffic, you won't get too much traffic from directories, but it's a backlink and that's what matters

I would recommend for submission of RSS feeds of the blog directories to the RSS submissions. This would be more useful than the blog directory submission.

Your blog needs those submissions, just the sheer number of backlinks your blogs gets with the submission of your feed. Is enough to that you can´t afford not to do it.!

And you will get some traffic, but not much from it.!

Yes i am used. But just a few visitors i get from blog directories submission

The ones on the danish site all works, but yes the other list is a bit old and some of the sites are not online.

btw i have 2 more sites that you might wanna use.
http://www.tumbol.com/ if you create a profil and login, then add a post it will give you the option of more than one link.

http://www.wikidweb.com/ is a PR 4 site where you can add your site, when it´s online then just edit it to give deep backlinks to your site.!
I have added my wordpress site and it looks like this [wikidweb.com/wiki/W3blog.dk]

Blog directory submission helps website to get good back links with anchor links. We can get good back links through free submission , but we can get fast back links through paid directory submissions.

I do agree with this and i think its good to use RSS directories for rather than submitting in blog directories.

yes i do blog directory submission as directory submission give our site backlink and i know it is not of much importance but something is better then nothing

Yes, I use blog directory submission but I prefer RSS feed submission on RSS directories. They are more effective.
