Dialup users average incomes?

Anyone know where I could find out the average income of the 20 something percent of people still using dialup?
Double Click or someone like them maybe?

Thanks
Frank

sorry no, but ironically the majority of the people I know who are on dial up are making more money then the majority of the people I know on high-speed.

Has less to do with income than location, IMO.

Yeah, location has a lot to do with it. Telco's in Australia do not service the needs of the Aussie outback. Only the city dwellers get looked after.

which would make sense, because the majority of the wealth I know live in the sticks, whereas everyone else is in the city.

And age... though their numbers are growing a lot of older folks 50 and up don't have much interest in the internet and only even have a dialup because they have a few thing sthey need to get done.

You should be able to find out something on Forrester.com. If not, I am sure they can put something like to together for you (not cheap).

I would agree with others, many times it's about location and not always based on cost. At my Mpls home Northern Mpls Suburb I have 2 choices. Dial-up and cable high speed. I cannot get DSL in my area (yet).

In New Zealand I can get broadband but the neighbours can't because they're on another street - and they earn way more. The ex-Mayor lives a couple of hundred metres away and I doubt he can get it either because I know his neighbours have been told they live "too far away from the exchange"

And we live in a suburb that is considered to be inner city fringe! of the country's biggest city. go figure!
