The sites that get a ton of likes so fast are the ones with a lot of subscribers/loyal reader base. Buying Likes is just wrong in my opinion. If you provide good content or provide a good service..etc your visitors will like your page/post.
The more traffic you send to your website the more likes you will get if they actually "like" what they are seeing. To tell you the truth, i "like" more threads and blog posts on SEO blogs then i do one my own websites. lol

I fully agree with you, snakeair. Bought likes will never make you a loyal readership base.
Just write good and interesting content regularly, make a group and a fan-page of your site, communicate in other FB groups related to your subject - and if people really like what there is on your site, they will be liking your posts and subscribe to your page.

Great points already made above. If you have a company Facebook page, you could try running contests and sweepstakes to encourage more people to like your page. However, once you increase your likes, you need to make sure you are posting quality content to keep them coming back to your page.

Just keep posting interesting articles, videos about your topic on your Face book Fan Page, your fans will automatically increase.

I saw a directory the other day advertised as a new high traffic directory. Ignoring for a second the ridiculous idea of new and high traffic going together, I looked at his content. It was a general directory, meaning it covered everything in the world... and it had about 2700 sites in it. Total. For a general directory, thats tiny, almost an empty structure.
Adding to the appeal, when you clicked on his page all you saw was adsense ads. Nothing else. You had to scroll below the frame to even see a directory at all.
He also had over 47,000 FB likes.
Here's the question. Who would go to that page except to laugh? Who would click "like"? And who is stupid enough to believe promotion is better than having content when people get there?
Store bought FB likes are like putting lipstick on a pig. Youll get plain old oganic FB likes if people really like the product, but wasting money pretending is just obvious. It's so sad when everyone thinks credibility is a purchasable commodity.

I partially agree that bought likes are bad. It depends on what bought means. I've had plenty of success with FB PPC and that is essentially bought likes. I usually only use that to get a page rolling though then it starts to gain its own momentum.
Sometimes bought likes are really someone pimping it out on a big fan page. That may or may not generate real interest depending on how it is done.
Sometimes bought likes are not even from real accounts. Some of the like sellers have thousands of accounts that they control. Sometimes this is good in a very small quantity to get a page rolling. A lot of people don't like to be the first one in.
There are plenty of other ways people build also. Some legit, some likely to get your page banned and maybe the personal account that controls the page. You cannot rely on the Like seller when they say their method is FB compatible. You've got to do your due diligence on something like this to make sure you don't lose everything you've put in and more.

Just a question out of curiosit, why would you want ppl likes when they dont really like your page... ?
don't go for automated things, do genuine efforts and try adding making your page liked by the People who really like it.

I think people think that visitors will pay attention to there website or buy there product if they see a ton of likes. In real life, the website could have very low traffic and a bad search engine ranking.
I agree with you on earning the "likes" by providing quality material..etc

There are several sites out there that exchange Likes with other users. For instance, you Like someone's page and earn credits that you can use to receive Likes to your page. Addsocials is a good one.

I've had good luck on highly targeted and non-spam CPA offers and amazon. Not much else has worked for me except my own products created for the page.

You should first of all receive good traffic to your website so that people may want to find on social websites just like facebook, twitter etc. Make your content good so that it should be according to the interest of your visitors.
best of luck...

What is the use of spending money to get many likes ? It's better to befriend known people and get them to like your post.

In LinkedIn there are groups about Social Marketing issues where people exchange likes with each other. Works quite well, but you need to really spend some time on it.
