Sales Page Generator

So far I have been making a decent go of things promoting affiliate products, but now have a couple of my own which will be ready to go within the next month or so.

Two questions if I may

1. Is there a favourite software any of you guys use for generating sales pages?

2. Which is the most effective and simple to use online payment system?

Probably Paypal. From a merchant standpoint it's nice because it's automatic cash usually. Credit card transactions through other companies usually take a few days. Really that shouldn't matter, but it's a plus.

From a buyers standpoint, Paypal does feel limiting. I no longer have my paypal account connected to my bank account.. so if I don't sell something on eBay to build up the account it's hard to buy stuff...lol. but I think the majority of consumers now days are pretty open to Paypal.

as far as templates for selling real products (not just affiliate links) my store uses a yahoo merchant account. I didn't chose it, but I can understand why it was chosen. I think they start around $39/month and you can get credit card transactions through it.
