Question Anyone ever try adbrite

I was curious if anyone has actually tried adbrite opposed to adwords. I noticed adbrite does have some large sites like NHL.com, ebaumsworld, and friendster (these sites are way out of my budget.)

I did alot of window shopping there checking out their member sites to advertise on and a few did seem appealing. I must admit I'm a bit weary for the fact that adbrite counts only on Alexa data for pageviews and unique visitors. Alexa rankings are just too unreliable in my oppinion.

The plus side to them is you buy your ads on a daily, weekly, monthly, etc..budget.

Any experience with them? Thoughts? Oppinions? Input?

quickregister is liked by many
I used them and I tracked the sales. They did deliver the traffic and I got enough sales to cover the advertising. For me that is a win because people subscribe to my mailing list and I can keep following up.

Good luck,

Matt

I have bought and sold traffic to them. Adwords/Adsense is better IMO

But if you tap Adwords too hard and need another source they will help.

I would use Yahoo/Overture first though.

Just my 2 cents

Hi,

I have used adbrite in the past and have found them to be quit lacking in what they offer. What their payout rates for clicks on network ads and also normal ads is low.

Also their traffic updates are very slow and they take time in paying out.

Thanks

I use them for advertising as well as Adwords. I'm a Guerilla marketer so advertise wherever I can find good targeted Internet marketing related traffic. I have found a couple site at AdBrite that are doing OK. Nothing earth shattering.
