yep.

That could explain why Yahoo (at least for me) is always lagging waaaaaaaaaaaaay behind in terms of conversion when compared to the other major PPC players. I've cut my spend with them every month since late last year.

I have a couple clients who use Yahoo and I kinda feel like I should mention this to them...but then again, I don't want to alarm them needlessly - thoughts?

Yep I blogged about it as soon as I read about it in WebProNews. 180solutions is bad news and thats only part of it. Just talked to Ben Edelman that did the research. He has more coming.

They are probably only popping on certain types of high paying keywords. I'm thinking about dropping Y just on principle even if my ad budget is not being stolen by the parasites.

I think I remember a news story about Overture being in bed with Gator a couple years ago too.

I don't even bother with Y. Google can provide what I need, and I only see using Y as a risk right now.
