Commission Junction almost never converts

Either I am terrible at affilate marketing or something is fishy.

Example from one of my sites this year I have sent them 2400 clicks for total of 8 conversions.

I am going with the fishy side of things. Is anyone else having an issue with them ?

Have you tried a similar program from somewhere else to see if it converts better?

Not yet. This site is an article site and was on autopilot and heavily adsensed until recently.

After reviewing my stats this month I am starting to investigate more. I pulled adsense fom the pages that were well targeted for the CJ offer and I need to wait another week to see if they helps. That change, so far, it only seems to have sent them more clicks but no boost in conversions

Find out if one of CJ's competitors has a similar program, and switch it out. Could give you some interesting results.

yeah thats the next step, thanks for your 2 cents... I hope it does prove "interesting". For as targeted as some of them were I expected at least a 2 or 3 percent conversion rate.

one other thing to is that its terrible across the board. These are articles that are varied and the merchants are varied as well. So its not one merchant that just has a cruddy site or that I picked a cruddy niche. Its everything I send no matter where it goes doesn't convert. Had I had at least one perfomer in the group I would have suspected the rest was my fault.
