It is something which is important. You might be able to get the attention of the search engine and rank your site, the next step is probably even more important: the clicks to the landing page and what people do there.

You want people to stay on your site or at least do what they are ‘supposed’ to do there. But how to do that? This ‘conversion’ is an entire study and a very interesting one. Bryan Eisenberg talked about how to build the perfect landing page in Antwerp last year. His presentation called “Anatomy of the Perfect Landing Page” you can find below. OMG!!! What a phenomenal article. It put perfectly into words and images some of the things I was semi consciously doing with some of my websites and gave me a lesson on how to improve them further.

The worded article is ok, the real value in that article is that 87 framed slide show. It takes you easily through the step by step process of how a good converting website should be laid out, complete academic analysis and many real world examples.

We use landing page with a purpose of getting some specific action from the visitors. Landing page is critical specially for an online business which is just starting. Definitely, landing page must be designed creatively and effectively.

Wow this is a must read one. Most websites I know has landing page problems - though they are well optimized but it seems to show still some problems ..

It shows more of what are the most common mistakes on other websites and the possible solutions as well.

My opinion in this regard is mostly related to the graphic part which could drive much more visitors to the order process .

Also smart description will increase it .
As my experience , most visitors will attract to the graphical landing pages.

Good stuff. I'm in the middle of choosing between ten different landing pages right now for a product, so the more educational reading, the better... ;-) Going to pull the trigger soon though.
