Twitter posts, youtube and facebook

Although the backlinks are nofollow it's highly believed that Google really takes Social Media into high regard

Yeah another thing that would work really well for what your looking for is guest posts.

Look for other webmasters in your niche that seem to get decent traffic and ask them if you can provide a blog post for their website in exchange for a backlink in the signature

Write a post in your blog with a link to a relevant page on your website. Then post in Twit with a link to your blog and set up twitter so it will post to Facebook at the same time.

Social media websites like Facebook and Twitter, good content on websites and guest blogging are the best options to promote a website.

I'm actually very curious to know if people here have had lots of success with posting a youtube video to promote their website? Is it really worth the effort? (thinking about trying that...)

Hi I have been using Youtube mainly as a video host without any real focus on SEO benefits, however, my videos were indexed and did have good SERP. keeping in mind that my business is small and my titles reflected that of a local business. IMHO, I think that Youtube is very similar to blog/static SEO.

Great techniques.

If you start using all these techniques together little by little, they add up in the long-run and are very very useful.

These can easily take your website to top rankings for low competition keywords.

Fill the site with his own unique articles specified subjects.
Part of the written papers are encouraged to place advanced websites with a link to your website.
Create a newsletter on your website.
After a while you will see how traffic to the site will rise. But be patient. For tangible and visible results that will affect the site traffic, it takes time.

All you need today is post your link on Google+ and it gets indexed much faster than on social bookmarking sites, but I need to agree that its good idea and I still remember my first post that went viral on Reddit and I got around 2k on 8 days old site and the funny part is that the post is still ranking number 1 in Google just from that vs really old and established sites.

There is number of techniques for promote a website but I think Social media marketing is the best way of promotion and then press release, article, classifieds ads and video submission.

Social Bookmarking don't give high traffic if you don't have healthy followers there.

Also post in twitter and Google+ with hashtags.

Remember that video marketing is only "1 PART" of marketing. It is like putting a puzzle together, you need to fit all the parts in the proper place for the entire picture to show.

When you combine the many aspects of marketing together then they become more powerful. For example:

I post an article on some syndication sites
I do a few bookmarks
I make fresh post on my blog every few days

With this marketing plan you will see some traffic and depending upon many other factors maybe even some sales.

On the other hand if

I post an article on syndication sites every few days
I do bookmarks and participate in the sites that have social features
I make fresh post on my blog every few days
I post 1 video on youtube every few days
I post 1 document on scribd.com (and other doc sharing sites)
I create a new hub every few days
I post on social media sites every few days (tumblr, multiply, livejournal, and etc.)

With this marketing plan you will see not only increased rankings but increased traffic. Again depending upon many other factors you will see a great increase in sales vs the other plan above.

Adding your websites to top 20 social bookmarking is good enough to index your new website.

Along with this try to get the diversity in link building. Now this is quite important in the eyes of Google.

Adding fresh and quality contents are always top priority.

Yes, the very main advantage of Social Bookmarking is that it benefits you lot in indexing your site by Search engine. Your site will get indexed very soon. Also, Social Bookmarking is very important for improving ranking of the website. One goal of social bookmarking links is for social traffic. Consider that if you are a blogger, then this will be the main use for your social media bookmarking campaign

Don't forget the niche social sites. They'll often pull you in less - but more targeted - traffic. I'd rather have 10 website owners come to my site from v7n rather than 100 from Stumble Upon.
