Help Me Out, Im stuck right now!

I had my website running now 6 months, and my hits just aren't where they should be. I have to 'Marketing' Stragity at all. So what is the best place to start? I am at a loss for what i should be doing. Are my keywords wrong? Why am i not getting very many Search Engine Hits. My website is, www.foshoflash.com

You need links. You need a ton of links if you're wanting to rank on SE's for competitive keywords.

you need to read about something called google page rank. to sum it up in one sentence. the more links you have coming into your site and the fewer links you have going out, the better your search engine placement will be.

but here's an even bigger issue for you. you're site is a bunch of links to random news stories. do you think you can compete with cnn.com? no way! you need a specific, niche topic if you want to get ranked highly for any search term.

What do you mean that your website isn’t getting the hits that it should be? What amount should it be getting, a 1000/day? 5,000? Why should it be getting that much traffic? What have you done to market your site? What SEO have you done to boost your rankings? What incoming links do you have to the site? I looked at your back links and you have none as far as Google is concerned. The first place to start is to take a look at what you are trying to do. Who is your target audience? Ok now you should determine which keywords will work for the type of site you are promoting. What are searchers using to get to your site? I would start there and then post after you have that information. Try using Wordtracker to resolve which keywords as best for you.

Make sure when you are getting all those incoming links that you are optimizing your anchor text with your important keyword phrases!

With that said fosho flash the two key things you gotta do are backlinks and good on page copy. Doesnt matter if google sees em or not the backlinks do it. send me a message if you need a FREE hand .. I will show you an EXAMPLE site that has 0 Pr and is top 10 for some high density terms.

It ranks high because it has backlinks and good copy, as john already mentioned at the start.
