Anybody who have tried headrest cover advertising?

Hello there! Recently we started doing a headrest cover advertising to promote our website and our clients as well. We all know online advertising is not enough and hard to compete, off-line presence, in real world is a big factor to make some noise and create awareness about your business / product / services. Those headrest covers are installed in taxi front seats, so there would be two headrest advertisement in a taxi.

It's our first time to do off-line advertising, esp. this headrest cover. So far, both clients and future client (those we've meet) loves it. We got support from them, they like this advertisement plus this advertisement is cheap. How we do it? By setting a partnership with taxi company and make a good deal with them. Both party would make money out of this, even the drivers. Because we are giving away free fuel to the driver who will won the raffle promo. And for the production of cover, we have a supplier that would create at least 500 pairs a day. It's part of traditional advertising and seems still effective now-a-day.

What's your thought about this? Are you willing to try this kind of advertising?

That is a great idea for advertising. Cab's are very popular for sure and if the person isn't to drunk, he or she will see the advertisement. (Yes, sober people do take cabs but alcohol is on my mind right now)

A lot of online business owners worry about online advertising so much that they forget about offline advertising and going local. Bumper stickers, headrest are very good offline tactic's. They will get seen a lot for sure each day.

Forming a partnership was a great idea and as long as both parties are doing well, the advertising will pay off. Hopefully people who see the ad in the cab will someday tell there family and friends about the ad and then viral marketing offline begins. lol

Well, true. Putting those fliers in cab is a help too.
