How can I get submitters?

I am looking for a few ideas or concepts on how to get submitters to my article directory.

I set up the directory and did not use any of pre written articles because I have seen other article directories with the same content on them. I just wanted to keep it fresh and am running into problems in getting articles submitted from users.

I was hoping that a few of you had some good ideas on how I can get some quality article submitters to my site.

A while ago I received an email from a similar articles website and they pointed me on a few catagories that would fit my 'niche' and the email asked if I would like to contribute an article(s) and it explained that the article can contain a link to my site and such.

It made me visit the site and got my interest (not that I wrote an article though, but that's because of no-time-for-it), maybe it's an idea for you to do too.

I just submitted one of my articles. I guess posting on forums is one way to get submissions.

Try submitting your site to article directories. Good luck!

if you want, send an email to help(at)articlepostrobot.com . Your site will be included in the software. Then, you will get many authors post articles to your site.

Well... First, you need to define your submittors. Is it really "Um, everyone having something to say should write a quality article about it on my site"? Or is it more like "I'm collecting articles about technology" or even "I'm collecting articles about cables that connect batteries with motors" (just to write something)?

Then, you need to define your target audience. Who should read about that? Everyone? Or just CEOs? Or Technicians? Or Website owners? Or ...?

Depending on the former two, you can find out

- where to tell people about your endavours as well as
- what incentitives people might need to write on your page.

If you answer was everything and everyone... You might face high cost to make it right :-)
