Hired a Blog Expert
I will soon have a blog for and on my website, I found a blogger that is very knowledgeable in my niche, I have been following his blogs for some time now that he has been doing for another company. He is very well spoken and touches on many related subject matters within my niche in his blogs.
He'll be posting once a week on my blog and sharing my link in other post wherever it's appropriate as a guest blogger on other sites.
I haven't really seriously considered a blog before but with my time spent on this forum, I realized it often comes up in conversations. So I have decided to make the investment, that I feel will have long term benefits according to many of the members here.
Just want the members here to know, " I'm listening", I'm just a little slow reacting at times. Lol

You still doing this blog idea? I think it's a great idea. You can build up some loyal readers from these blog posts. Also if something has changed with your business like a new product, upgrade or specials, you could write a blog post about this to announce it.
Most companies have a corprate blog or a blog attached to there business in which they write about what's going on in the company, stuff going on in there industry, tips...etc
Good luck with the blog and let us know if you need any other tips. You should have at least 1 to 2 blog posts per week. I write about 3 or 4 myself at times but I like to talk a lot in real life so I try to do the same on the blog.

I think it's a good way of building your rep. It's good that you found an expert in blogging to continue with this plan of yours. It's definitely going to help spread your name out on the Internet. I'm looking forward to reading your blog, too! I hope you can share the feed in this forum!

I think this is a good idea because when you gain readers on your blog, they have the potential to be YOUR loyal readers who have the power to spread word around about your blog. This will enable you to promote products or services that can be visible for everyone as well.

You could get a few crazy videos done on fiver upload them to youtube and lead viewers to the blog, and slowly build up the pitch to the main site. Cool product is that yours do you make them?
I would make the main site button open in a new window so they spend more time on the blog site

Good idea! Thanks! Yes, it is my product. I do give the word when I need more made, maybe one day I'll invest in the equipment to actually make them myself. Having a 4 cavity mold made has already put me in the poor house not to mention the patent. Lol
I have to keep reminding myself, "Baby Steps".

I wish you the best of luck with your product I have sold products similar to yours, I worked as a door to door salesman, “businesses only” we used to sell thousands of products every week. People find it hard not to buy from you when you’re stood in front of them.
I also did telesales its a great way to contact hundreds of people in one day. Write a calling script, write it under the basis that they have already bought it from you, and you are only really calling to see how many they “need” assumptive selling is best way. Don’t ask do they want to buy them, ask how many you should leave, you see this way, whatever answer they give, is the answer that you want.
Example I don’t say are how would you like to pay because they could say cheque, I say is a debit or credit card you’re paying with today mr / mrs.
Also if you have a trusting voice and a different accent to the person you are selling to helps a lot, I had my own telesales company when I was 16, selling booklets for advertising we did quite well I can’t think of any other method to contact that many targeted people in one day.
Hit SME hardware shops, places like b&m etc, in just 7 days you could contact thousands of businesses, My conversion was around 300 calls gets average 10 deals. In one week you could have 70 stores selling you product.
Leave them on hardware shops doorsteps “if they are cheap enough to make of course” leave a note saying something like sell that keep the money, call me for more.
Garden centres are quite easy to sell to as well, which is a good sector for you, also the people who own these types of shops are normally quite weak in terms of saying no to sales pitch, I found that any sector to do with pets, flowers normally the people who own these types of shops are quite caring people, they hear you out without hanging up or walking away, and they find it hard to say no.
Also another really big selling point, is safety, anything to do with safety sells, a few stories out there about how much “buddy” saved a few accident would work well I guess.
Anyway that’s just a few random ideas to consider, or maybe go the next step further and actually have buddy implemented on fountains at the manufacturers $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
You see for a fountain maker to have a patent on his packaging is quite an advantage, even though the patent is not related to the fountain, its related to buddy, just for them having that on the box is a huge selling point. I am quite sure the fountain itself already has a patent, so being able to use your patent number on the box should be enough for them to use you, not to mention the actual uses of buddy.
Solar powered fountains are becoming a big thing at cemeteries because people have no access to power supply maybe this is something to think about, there are more dead than living, and people would pay anything for the best products to leave with their loved ones at the cemetery. Sounds depressing but it’s a market and money could easily be made, I go to the cemetery most days, and I would say that at least 1 in 20 graves has some sort of solar powered fountain / water feature.
I was up late late night I feel a little rough but if I get any more of my random ideas I will let you know but I really do believe a few of these ideas may help you, put your own twist on it, give it go whats to loose
