Itís Time to Give Microsoft adCenter a Try

I've never used adcenter before and might get an account one of these days to give it a try. Check out this blog post folks.

If youíre like a lot of PPC advertisers, youíre probably spending most of your time on Google AdWords. Thatís because, in all likelihood, youíre getting most of your traffic from AdWords. But if you havenít used Microsoft adCenter recently, itís time to take another look.

Microsoft adCenter has been around nearly as long as AdWords, in one form or another. Historically, though, advertisers have found significantly lower traffic levels on adCenter.

Not only was adCenter traffic low, but it was also quite painful for advertisers to use the interface. Pages were slow to load, and it was difficult to perform everyday tasks such as bid updates and ad copy changes.

For many advertisers, low traffic combined with usability challenges led them to abandon adCenter.

A lot has changed in the last couple of months, though; much of it due to...

I just started using adcenter. So far I like it, bids on keywords are a lot cheaper than adword. It seems when I raise my bid on adword to compete all I get is a bunch of fraudulent clicks according to my tracking I have in place.

I think it's wise to use them both to some degree. At-least from time to time.

Results can be measured in many different ways. lol They say folks have to be exposed to something 7-10 times before they accept it and make it their own.

I'm still waiting! lol

I've been using Adcenter for two years now. It's not quite as good as Adwords, but it sends decent quality traffic at relative per-click costs.

We actually use adcenter for Mevvo, and find it to be very effective. It seems for every $.50 - $1.50 we spend we gain a $5-$13/mo customer. Bidding is a lot cheaper than adwords. We were spending $10 - $20/day to gain the same amount of customers.
