More control with "mute this ad" [x] icon (Adwords)

Some interesting news on the Adwords blog.

We think that it's for users, but I think that it's a good strategy for advertisers to know in what domains are users interested (not only for a special ad). Also it's a Google strategy to comply with EU Laws.

I think it's a pretty good step. But honestly, I'm actually skeptical about this one. It's unknowingly letting people engage more on the ads with the options.
