Yes actually, facebook does generate traffic for us. Even though we run a packaging webshop selling packaging machines, tools and materials, which is obviously none consumer products. Facebook somehow helps us reach out to new customers. It is also an easier way to keep in touch with your clients.

I do get some traffic from posting links on my Facebook page, but although I don't have any stats I could show you, it isn't THAT much.

I got very less traffic from Facebook to my website compare to over all traffic. It is less than 1%. But id promoting the Fan page,then traffic is good to that page.

I can get facebook to bring lots of traffic to videos but not directly to websites I find people are more likely to watch a video than to click a link. I do it in a 2 part pitch first the video on Youtube gets watched on facebook if they bite they go to youtube to check for comments and likes if all is good they click the link

I would say I get around one to five visits from facebook a day. I am hoping to get around a hundred uniques a day from facebook, but I think that would be harder. However, I am still working on it. Having a very popular facebook page that gets a lot of views is useful.

Yes Facebook is good for get lots of traffic but the most of the visitors form facebook not interested in buy some thing so if you run a Selling Product site then prefer other methods of targeted traffic more then facebook.

I have never found the traffic from facebook to be of any use to me. I think it must depend on your niche, but not everything is good for facebook.

You could try using a professional Facebook page system that acts almost like your website. I've tried this and I have had good interaction on FB, but almost nothing filters back to my site.

Search for the Fanzilla app on FB, that's pretty good.

W do get good amount of traffic from Facebook, but if we talk about other matrices like bounce rate, time on site and goal conversions, all of them are not so good with the Facebook traffic. So we don't put major effort on getting traffic from Facebook, we do only use it as a customer support and brand management tool.
