It helps to let your peers know first about your new website, they might tell it to other people as well.

And I've read once that a guy was able to get a 5,000 clicks per day just by leaving comments on other people's blog. Interesting isn't it?

but you have to leave comments, not just spam. You have to actually care about the post enough to make a real comment.

yes, that's what I meant. COMMENTS, not spam. Take a time to read and appear to be genuinely interested with the article.

It also helps to have your link in your signatures on every forum (that allows them) that you post comments on. Pay per click is another option.

you should also make an articles and press releases and send it to article directories and submit your press release.

post in classifieds on whatever your site is related about.

put your link in your sig
