Most people find it easier to leave testimonials on social media. You could take screenshots of comments or create a review section on your facebook page.

I can tell you, that a large a amount of all testimonials are fake - as a seo-specialist, I know it
there are lots of tactics how these testimonials could be received

Make a funny piece of content, associate it with a product, promote it on social media and you have social proof. People will like, share & comment on anything without checking what it's for, unwittingly provided social proof for said anything.
