Adsense with adbrite?

Im running an adbrite text unit on http://www.gotbanned.info

And I chose the option to put my adsense code with it, so it will display the highest paying ad. Is this a bad option? Should I jsut pick one or the other?

I thought Google Adsense did not allow you to use any other advertising network on the same page as it.

You can place ads on your site that are non-contextual and do not look like Google ads. So lets say you are an affiliate of a site. You may place their links or banners on your page as well. In some cases sites such as Ad-brite do offer non-contextual picture ads, but you need to create a test page and send a letter to Google and ask their opinion. You will never penalized by them for this. Just do not link the page to your main site and label it something like test.html or .php etc. You will then get their input on the ad placement and the type of ad. Then you simply save the correspondence for use if an issue does arise down the road. I have done this several times with Google and they have always been forthcoming and I have been approved to use other ad networks as long as they are non-contextual ads.

You can also find out more about what is acceptable from Google here

https://www.google.com/adsense/suppo...849&topic=8425

and here

https://www.google.com/adsense/suppo....py?topic=8423

these should answer most of your questions, but always go to the horses mouth because it is a fine line and some times these policies are not clear enough.

Good Luck!

Thanks exactly the reply I was looking for!

But just one thing, Do you think adbrite would pay more than adsense on a proxy niche?

I think the best is for you to do a split test and find out.
