need advice on running two complimentary sites

Hi,

My friend and I run a couple of websites. We started them around the same time and we've been trying to figure out ways to help each other. I run the content driven site he runs the product site. The content and product compliment each other. My question is when we link to each other (I link to his product pages and he has my RSS feed) does this look like bad linking to search engines especially since I link to his site on almost all my pages with the logo for his site? If so, does anyone have suggestions on how to better display our products on my site? I have a product page but I don't sell them directly there.

sorry this is not really realated to you question, but hows the traffic on your site, this garden site that you have in sign., you have lots of articles there and thats why i am wondering
