What are the best "Get Traffic" techniques?
Let's start and write down what we know...
1) Domain Name - it is very important to have a good domain name. If u are selling books then tour domain should really contain a very strong keyword that refer to your products - in this case "book" is very good ... (.website-books.com is pretty good)
2) Keywords - keywords are very important when users search for a certain item or product. if u sell books then book and e-book should really be one of your reference keywords. Just take a pen and a paper or use notepad (hihi) and write down all the major words related to your site information or products...
3)CONTENT - in my opinion this is one of the most important step.... CONTENT IS KING... maybe u have bad keywords or a bad domain name.. but content can work very good for u.. so write good content and u'll get fine
4) Search Engine Registration - after u have built your site with proper content, u can now start and register for search engine indexing - google yahoo altavista and many others can be a very good start points
5)Directories - submit your site to as many website as u can... this is a slow process but in the end u will thank yourself for doing so
6) Link Exchange - very powerful! Rather then wait for weeks and sometimes months for being indexed by search engines, better try to make a link exchange with better indexed sites.. sites with good content.. and with better
PR - this is very hard.. since nobody wants to link to a newbie site.. but it's worth trying!
