Live webchat service converts more visitors into prospects

Hello:

We are launching a service where in we offer services of live chat agents to our clients. These agents are trained on our clients's offerings and chat with their site visitors.

The idea is to convert a higher %of their visitors into prospects.

This is one very independent, non-intrusive channel to increase
the lead generation capability for our clients.

They can avail of this service 24x7 thus keeping their business
open all round, globally, all the time.

Wanted to get some opinion about this idea..We have already signed
in some customers have good traction at this point in time.

Thoughts, suggestions ?

It is simply an Internet or web page related Call Center concept then? I'd think it makes sense for all the same reasons as conventional call centers do. Have you examined that model?

Bob,
Yes its pretty much a call center concept. But we want to focus more on the "marketing" and "lead generation" angle. Most call centers today focus more on the "support" aspect. We will be looking Marketing Directors of organizations as our customers...

We are looking at the "increase your revenues" aspect rather than "customer support" although thats not ruled out altogether :-)
