Im not saying go ahead and email. But emailing is NOT illegal. If you comply with the "SPAM CAN LAWS" it is legal.

I work with a group of dedicated ezine publishers who would be shocked to think that you'd think that using their lists to tell others about what you have to offer would not be a good idea
On the contrary, more often than not, ezine lists consist of double opt-in readers/subscribers who have agreed ahead of time to read other people's stuff, too.

I be interested to understand additional details about this, can you explain further?

Even I would certainly like to know more about it... seems interesting.
Personally e-mail marketing most of time frustrates the person at the receiving end due to getting mails from an unknown sender and also offers in which they probably might not be interested with.
It's not that e-mail marketing is a bad idea but if it's used in the best appropriate manner without spamming people's accounts then it can work wonders for one.

Thinking of e-mail campaigning is a great idea but buying e-mail lists and sending spam mails is certainly not a good idea.

Check out "trafficoasis". They may have what you are looking for.
I still prefer building my own list. A good landing page. Maybe a little PPC.

From its first look, it seems like junk e-mail to me. Is this something you currently use or is it something you are advertising.

Email Marketing Seems to be a waste
I think your best bet is to do pay-per-click advertising, web articles, and forum submissions. You can learn alot at forums.

I think this depends on what type of campaigns though, e-mail may be better for a different group of campaigns instead.

The best way to do email marketing is to build your OWN list and that way you know where your list came from and and what to market to them.
i use an autoresponder

I think it would be smarter if we can convince any reputable guru who already own his own list to do JV and request him to help you to market your product. But, that's just my opinion. I just started to learn about email marketing too. But I know what's the difference between SPAM and Double Opt-In Mailing.

If used correctly permisson-based email marketing can become the main source of your customers, and a fantastic way to retain customers.
