Plz advise. How to promote a forum.

Hi, I'm new here. I think this site is a cool and useful site.

I just have finished my website pc-onlinehelp.com. But I get less IP per day(3 ip maybe). My site is about repair computer. And I provide the remote live help now. I think it's a good service for some PC newbie. But I have already promote my site on other PC help related forum for 1 week. Just got less effect. How can I promote my site. Plz diagnose my site and give me the honestly suggestion. Any suggestion you can give will be greatfully appreciated. Thank you very much indeed.

For something specialized like PC help, I'd suggest posting more on related forums. I couldn't tell from your post if you only posted on one forum for a week or if it was several, but I'd say stick with it. 1 week isn't really that long and you also didn't mention what kind of posts you were making.

I would think that if you consistently posted helpful PC advice on a variety of forums, you would probably get a decent number of visitors clicking your sig link to see what other knowledge they might find on your site.

to get more visitors you need to promote your forum, do not forget that forum need more and more effort to get members.
- add content to your forum,
- get links
- posting forums select more than 20 forums and schedule to post every time.
- try to offer some freebie such as free ebook, software,
- one week, it is better to shcedule your work for 6 months or more.
