AdWords Alternative
First off, Bidvertiser BLOWS!!! Don't use Bidvertiser. I can convert more people with a bumper sticker.
Now, to the main issue. I am doing ok with Google AdWords right now, but I would like to find an alternative.
What would you recommend? I am looking at AdBrite and DoubleClick.
Give me your opinions!

I have used adbrite. It's a lot different from adwords but its a goldmine atleast for my niche and for my services. Start small with it until you figure out how to maximize your profits.
No experience with doubleclick. And, Bidvertiser worked pretty OK for me. Not the greatest but not too bad either for the money.
Best Regards,
Ana

I have been considering PPC service to BidVertiser.com
Seen a couple of good reviews about them but have never tried them myself. Anybody in here tried them, would appreciate to hear your experience.

I have personally just switched a couple sites to Azoogle and so far have outperformed Adsense.
Here is (Not my site) a list of some Adsense alternatives.
adsensealternatives.org
I really just depends on your site I believe...adbrite I could never get to work.

the topic is for adwords alternatives not adsense
however, i've considered many adwords alternatives and would be interested in keeping up to date with posts in this topic... adbrite seems about the best i've researched so far so if anyones got any more opinions on this that wuld be great

Time to say a few words about the BidVertiser performance. First of all its cheap Avg CPC is $0.10, CTR 0 % - a big BUT here - I am only using one keyword phrase, its a competitive phrase and the ad copy is pretty standard. The quality of the visitors seems ok. For this project/campaign ROI is not relevant for the time being.
I have decided to continue using them, because all over the results are acceptable.

MSN adCenter?
Their software is perhaps the most sophisticated, and very specific targeting can save you lots of money. Too little of userbase, though.

You can target ads by gender, age, income, location, etc etc (basically, all information that is stored in their MSN/Windows Live account).
Majority of MSN search users search while being logged in their account, so these kinds of targeting are pretty effective.

I've only used yahoo search and adwords and for me adwords is the only choice. If I'm putting that much time into selecting keywords and composing the ad's etc. and the money that goes along with it I want the biggest audience I can have and that is adwords.

YPN is prolly the best alternative to Adsense
but too bad that its still under beta and non
americans cant use it. Adbrite is good for PPC
for a few niche's like poker et all. Never tried double
click though..

AdWords, Yahoo overture, MSN adcenter all works same way.
If you are considering alternatives here are some options:
- Get ads from AdBrite, text-link-ads.com etc.
- get reviews from blogs.
- classified advertising.

I`d just like to mention a new PPC alternative to adwords and adsense it`s called NowAds.net and accepts all kinds of sites such as adult and gambling etc. also 100% free webhosting at a1free.net , short url redirect at urlco.net and subdomain redirect at courl.net I hope these services will be of use to you all :-)
