Getting linked on high PR sites....

if i get listed on some Good PR sites.

Like 25 contextuals related to my sites topic. Like John Scott has to offer, will my PR go up right away?

Define "right away." Your pagerank will increase, but it will take a couple weeks for the search engines to connect your site to the high PR sites (depending on how often those sites are crawled) and then you'll have to wait a few more days for Google to evaluate your pagerank and increase it.

Be careful when buying high PR links. John Scott has a great program here, but some others can actually hurt your PR if Google has them marked as spamming or permalink sites.

no.. it will depends on SEs but in Google it usually update on every 3 months.. having a good or high backlinks will create a good benefits to your site which is good PR.

Correct. Nothing will ensure you are guaranteed to go up "right away". There are additional determining factors involved beside just links. They must be also related to your topic.

I would say sponsor a wordpress theme. You can get all kinds of backlinks once the theme gets downloaded and put to use. The only thing is don't have control over what type of sites use your theme, or what PR the site has.

Vleek, this is a great idea! I think I'll do it and see what happens (whether my PR will increase or not in time) and how much traffic I am going to get. For me that would be good, because I think I will get some new writers in my team - bloggers are writers after all, and many WHAMs need to make an extra income.
