Most Popular Article Submission Sites?

im trying to get a list of the most popular article submission sites. i am gonna try writing an article and putting it out there for distribution but i don't want to spend much time submitting to a zillion sites that get about 0 traffic.

ones i can come up with are:

Isnt it bad to submit the same article to more than one article site? Im still not clear on this

No it's all right if you submit the same article to a number of article submission sites.

If the original article is posted on your site or blog then submit the same article to the ASS giving a gap of 10-15 days so that the posting on your site or blog gets the maximum weightage by the search engines because the crawling of the spiders will be done well in advance before they crawl the other ASS.

Just keep in mind that posting the same article (which is on your site) to other sites will need a little editing so that your article is different from others.

BTW, does it need to edit the words only or the concept as well?

Of course not the concept my friend but just the words. Just play with the text using synonyms and tricks like that but without changing the meaning of it else it won't make any sense.

Here is a bigger list...Yet I have to warn you that submitting the same article to all these sites and your own site will not bring so much. You'll get a few links with no real SEO value (due to the duplicate content penalty issues) and some traffic if you are lucky. But that’s it.
