Business Cards
Hi everyone. I have been using Business Cards successfuly to market my business for a long time, and was getting them printed locally. I recently found VistaPrint..com online, and wish i know of them earlier. 250 full color Business Cards for the priceof $6 shipping. They looked great and came really fast. Just wanted to share.

I am not a big fan of vistaprint. If you want your business to make a great impression I would go to overnightprints.com
I actually got samples from both places and quality is not a question... Vista uses a flimsy piece of sheet. Overnights, was much more stiff and didn't really get banged up corners. Then the printing job at overnight is superiour to any vista does - over all their product line: Brochures, B cards, Magnets, envelopes, and flyers.
Also, I am at the point where I need to upload an image for busisiness cards - (don't want to use the templates) . So it cost atleast $5 with vista to upload an image. With overnight it is expected. So that alone brings the price ranges in the same ballpark.
Tip for vista people though, I am a cheapo - so I used their 21 day ground shipping and found it came in 7 days anyway. Saved 2 bucks!

I just got my order today. They are great.
ideaGENERATOR: With vistaprint you can choose the paper stock you want to use, including standard, glossy, and the stiff kind. I chose 7 day shipping and it came in 3. I'll give overnightprints.com a shot when I have to get new stuff.

If you are interested in comparing, order their samples - which are free,
There is no question which are better. And they send 3-4 different types of cards each. Even vista's signature 'foil' looks amaturish compared to overnights cards.

I have used VistaPrint and was highly pleased with the service as well as the end product. I would definitely recommend them as an affordable way to get business cards and postcards printed.

I always print my business cards at vistaprint.com. They are much better then my local companies offering printing services since I get a lot more options to decide what I want printed on the cards.

I prefer GotPrint.com over VistaPrint. I have had enough problems with VistaPrint that I only use them when I absolutely have to. VistaPrint's quality is more variable than I would like, but it is consistently professional grade. However, other big printers typically offer a print quality that is noticably better when you hold the products side by side. When you choose to pay for your print jobs, GotPrint.com blows VistaPrint pricing out of the water. If you have to call customer service, you can understand what the people at GotPrint are saying, and they can understand you.
When I see a business card with someone else's logo on the back, I regard that about the same as Google regards domain names that have only been purchased for a year (i.e. in a lower regard). One time I paid full price for a batch of greeting cards from VistaPrint. I had horrible customer service throughout. Their provided template was wrong. And when I recreived the final product, VistaPrint printed their logo, slogan, and website on the back of my cards even though I paid full price. I would never send such a thing out for a client. If that's VistaPrint's idea of business integrity, I say pass.

Metal cards back in the day were used to chop up drugs with, at least in the media industry.
