$1500 - How to use money to advertise effectively?

Hi everybody,
My company supplies hosting service.
I have $1500 to do an advertising campaign in next month.
And I have three plans:
Plan A: Putting my banner on a prestigious electronic newspaper about business.
Plan B: Building trade-links.
Plan C: Creating an adword.
But I have never done an advertising campaign like that

. Please give me your advice. Thank in advance.

Go targeted. Adwords, for example, on very targeted terms.

I used Adwords before up to $20/day, and it didnt bring many clicks or traffic.

Next month, I want to promote premium hosting for business. In my opinion, electronic newspapers about business focus on our targeted customers more. But I have no experience of rate of click when I put my banner on. Have you advertised on electronic newspaper? Please let me know what do you think about your advertising campaign.

Highly managed Adwords campaigns have always done the trick for me. The hosting market is pretty flooded though, good luck.

Hmm, I don't know I prefer to advertise service via traditional offline media before I go into online marketing, always find it more effective that way

Mix it up ~ do adwords and start building links.

i would suggest not to spend too much on adwords. rather you can spend the money to get permanent results.
- buy some links from pr 5+ directories
- get some good articles written, submit them to digg and other social bookmarking sites.
- spend little on adwords.

Offers free 3 month hosting services if you can afford to. JV with other internet marketers, especially those who teach newbies how to start up internet marketing.

I'd suggest staying clear of AdWords in your position. It is not very effective if you are new - especially in a competetive market like web hosting.

Check out AdBrite.com - that might be of some interest.

Also, I'd first put most of my efforts in free promotion - not does it help get some traffic, but it helps you figure out what works and might help you determine what is the best way to spend your money and what is the best campaign message...
