Where to find Marketing Jobs?
Hi,
Why do people come up with same problem?? “We are not getting the right job, good place to work” and all such repetitive questions every time??
Do they not know how to surf net that has so many new job opportunities and job boards launching each day?? The need is to open up two eyes and one mind to see the new things.
Recently my friend came to me… he wanted to enter into the marketing industry. His only question – HOW??
I need your help for answering his “HOW??” If you came across some good marketing-career-sites then let me know.

The forums are a good place to start, you can read about what people are suggesting to try, or to stay away from.

If a person doesn't have marketing experience, a good way to get some good experience is to ask established marketing or design firms for an internship.

hi,
Ma’m! We sure ave 2 eyes and a mind to see and observe things but this is REALLY a genuine problem… not gettin the right job, good place 2 work, as when u search jobs in newspaper, you just end-up with very limited job oppertunities and if u search them on net then…it takes u from one site to other, spending only ur lot f time n doin nothin else.
Der r many job boards present wer ur friend can apply but I would like to suggest one site, marketingcrossing.com det I think is different from other common job websites. Here, you can search jobs according to your desired location and also gets exclusive collection of marketing jobs to search job of your criteria, not getting confused with other job categories. This feature of job board, I liked the most and may be you too…

Is your friend looking for a an online or offline job ? Marketing can mean many things. Related to marketing as a skill set: start with some books, continue on the forums, try to experiment yourself without loosing too much money, get to know people in a niche of your choice, go for it!

I recommend that your friend starts freelancing. This way he can actually understand by himself what the market requires in terms of workforce on the Internet, in the marketing area.

I totally agree with Elena. Freelancing is a good way to start. You could also join some company that requires help at online marketing, a good deal of experience can be gained this way.

Theres a lot of agencies like 52ltd.com that help freelancers find advertising jobs and creative gigs. They specialize in copywriting jobs, graphic design, flash jobs and web design job placement. 52 Limited also works closely with Nike & Adidas who out sources work to them. If you'd like to work with either of those 2 giants, submitting your resume to 52 is a good place to start.

College. But aside from that online forms have been a tremendous help in educating myself about marketing and e-commerce.
