Do you specialize in anything in particular ? Knowing to do something yourself can greatly lower the costs of starting a business and can always increase the quality of service within your future business model.

the budget of 3000 $, that is many, is not all to have success with one internet activity.
you have need to have experience. With experinece you reduce the costs and you are more efficient.
you start choosing one thing that you like and where you are interested ....

18 months ago I started my internet travels with only $3000 to my name. I spent it on developing my website, and finding advertising that worked well for promoting it. Now I own over 10 websites and my company is incorporated, making more in one week then what I started out with.

$3000 is plenty to start with, just don't throw it away. Come up with a good idea, perfect a website on it that visitors will enjoy, and promote it everywhere that gives you a good ROI. Rinse, repeat.... that's all there is to it.

P.S. Trying to profit off stuff like adsense will probably leave you broke. It's hard to promote a website monetizing itself on ad impressions/clicks and keep your advertising costs below your advertising profits. Get a product or service you can sell and promote that.

advices:
1 ... wait dont rush if you have an idea ... ( i personally rushed on my 1st site costed me 2900$ and i never completed it ...)
2 ... analyse the market (try to be original dont follow a project where theres thousands of others already in there)
3 ... patience ...
4 ... be original ...
5 ... stiick in this forum ull get good advices and ask here before taking a big decision. asking opinion of people who succeeded on internet is always a good way to avoid spending your money for nothing.

in other words ... dont do my mistakes lmao

jk ... shop for what you want dont rush into "great deals" ull get better

I can say that I was very interested about this offer too and this person showed me great patience and detailed explanations. I hope he will sell his website(s) because I am not able to buy them now due to other financial plans. You will have great time working with him.

I was doing some reading, and read that if you had $3000 to start your business, you should invest $500 toward your business and keep the rest for a rainy day...$3000 is a ton of money for a small online business in my opinion, heck mine was started on less than a 10th of that...

You don't need $3,000 to start an internet business if you can do some of the work yourself.

Depending on what you want to do you probably only need a web hosting account and a design which should cost under $500.

Another good tip would be to outsource work that you can't do yourself. In this way you will avoid the high prices of local firms while benefiting from reliable outsourcing services from people all over the globe.

My advice would be to ask yourself a few questions?

Do you know domain names?
Do you know SEO?
Do you know how to market online?
Do you know web design and development?
Do you know branding?

These are just a few of the very important things you will need to master to become successful on the net. If you don't know any of these things you should start learning as soon as possible.

You need to identify first to what kind of business do you to specialize online.
Research and analyze the market and the user. Or what kind of business do users visit online? Is your budget enough to start a business online? Do you have a website online or do you have a domain name? What are the requirement is starting a business online? Are we knowledgeable on the internet business or do you need to ask expert. This are the questions that we need to know in starting business online? Research is the first thing we do...

I just made the site in my sig form $0. It runs off a local computer, hooked up to my cable modem using Dynamic DNS. Use all GPL Open Source software and set up in less than 1 hour.

You like?

Seems like the thread starter has gone and evaporate for so long. well my suggestion would be...

* Think of what you want to cater online
* Hire a good designer or a design company (I prefer freelance contact me )
* Write a good content always make sure it's unique
* Hire someone who will promote and advertise your site

estimated cost probably $1*** usd no products yet but you still have $2***

Hope this one helps...
