Google, Yahoo,and MSN local?

Was wondering if any people in this forum make use of Google, Yahoo,and MSN local. If so I'll share something I found out the other day thats puts you on top... Well I'll get tell you.. Simply up-date your entry... worked for me on yahoo still waiting for google to and msn to add my new site to local listings...

That is interesting. I just joined here. I do a lot of work on local stuff. Of coincidence I just interacted with mike blumenthal whose blog on google maps and yahoo local is a great authority....and we were speaking about local rankings.

I did an update at G maps...and on 8/9 they had an update and I did see improvement.

I suspect what you saw might not be connected to simple updating though. There was an overall reranking....with other types of results....that might indicate that there was more in play than just updating.

But....I'm going back to look. I did an update not long ago....I wonder about the timing relative to your suggestion.
