Cant get Quality traffic, when buying it. If anything try Google ad words. Didn’t work for me but you might get lucky.

It depends on what market you are targetting. What is the niche of your site btw?

Of course you can. Google Adwords works great and is one of the best examples of buying traffic. As long as you are good at it and know how to tightly target your niche using long tail keywords without too much competition, you can get targeted traffic that converts well for under a dollar a click. You can even do well with highly competitive keywords as long as you spend less per conversion than you make on one sale.

If are too much cautious about quality there is no substitute for Adwords. But it is a costly affair. Otherwise, depending upon your target group, you can opt for alternative Ads to reach out to them. It depends a lot on your target group as well.

As said earlier Google can work if you do it right and I have had luck with Yahoo also. I am currently testing the water with MSN Adcenter to see how it performs for me as well.

I would steer completely away from the sites that offer targeted traffic such as the 10,000 customers for $10.00 deals.

In the end the best thing for you is to concentrate on building your business through links and serp position in keywords. Less expensive and highly effective even though it takes a bit of time to accomplish.

You might even consider an affiliate program if your product or service price allows for it.

You may also try Yahoo Search Marketing (used to be Overture). You can get $100 free when you sign up for an account now...

Here is the real question. You received traffic, but was this quality traffic and did it give you a Return on Investment.

I do think traffic is considered "quality" when it has a high conversion rate. Best you try targetted link backs and some PPC campaign

best converting paid for traffic in my experience:

#1 Yahoo
#2 MSN
#3 Google AdWords

that being said I would start with AdWords because their interface is the best and they get by far the most quantity of traffic.

i wouldn't waste my time & money with any of the other PPC if I was you (I, unfortunately, did.)

Many people have and while they think it is a great deal the real truth is that they ultimately find out that it is not worth the money invested.

Too bad you had a bad experience in this before. Maybe you just need to try out other campaigns with other providers What is your niche by the way?
