Is this a good idea or bad?

This is my site www.mxmegastore.com. It’s a dirt bike/motocross apparel site. I’ve added a very addicting game to the bottom of my homepage to hopefully generate repeat visitors and maybe some backlinks. Most of the time when visitors come by to play the game they probably won’t buy anything but hopefully when they do need a new helmet or something the site will stick in their heads. At least that’s my theory. Here’s why I’m not sure if it’s a good idea or not.

1.The game is done in an iframe, does this have any negative SEO affects?

2.When I try to open the site at my work the iframe comes up as blocked. The rest of the site loads fine but do you think this will hurt my site’s credibility when someone looks at it at work and that part comes up banned?

I don't think the iframe will draw any negative affect. Try to raise awareness by adding content about the risks of brain injuries like this site; http://www.protectyourhead.com/

The automatic sound is annoying, other than that I think it's fine. Maybe make a seperate page for it?

The sound annoyed me to. When I added it I didn't have my sound on. I've also added it to a category, "games" so that annoying sound doesn't load on my homepage. Thanks a bunch for the suggestions.

Now I’ve got another quest. I want to add a forum to my site. I think the only way for me to do this would be to create another category , “forum”. Then host the forum on a third party site with an iframe on my site.

How will this affect SEO since spiders will might think the forum posts are from other site?

Many companies block scripts such as these to keep their employees from abusing company time and resources. I would not worry about this since most of your visitors are going to visit your site from home. Also the idea is not bad if it works. You never know how something is going to work for marketing until you try it. Good luck and let us know how it works out.

This is a very nice suggestion. Content like this should keep your visitors coming back to your site. Your users might even suggest it to their friends. But be sure to provide your own content - of your own writing if possible.

As I said earlier do not worry about the work issue this is quite common to see happen at most companies. When I worked for a couple of different large companies we blocked these types of scripts from our network that employees would use during work time.

Any idea might work. I think that YouTube vidios on the bottom of website is a great way for business.

You should try putting a sample helmet that your site is selling on your avatar to prove how durable your products are lols,
