Advise is measured upon the givers own success rates the majority of the time. The other side of the coin is the aspects of Knowledge & Wisdom that stemmed from a past involvement (No current results to show).
Even then one must ask them self, if it was so lucrative & successful for them, why are they not rich or still using their own advise now?
Things to keep in mind when accepting advise - 9 times out of 10:- If your adviser is telling you how to get rich & he/she is not already - It's not good advise.
- If your adviser is telling you to buy a product / service they don't or never have used them self - It's not good advise.
- If your adviser is basing their research off of an article someone else wrote about someone else's article research (3rd Party) & they haven't done any active research / testing them self - It's not good advise.
In conclusion:
It's always best to conduct your own research / testing when you can, However if you MUST seek advise from others, make sure they practice what they preach.
