Subject of Article to Promote my WebSite
Dear swifmed:
I certainly agree quality unique content is near the top of the list for a successful website. The majority of Content on the ZipLabor website comes from users. Demanders post Tasks they want to complete and Performers post their Qualifications to Complete those tasks.
I do have some problems with writing Articles. I have Graduate degrees in Accounting and Economics and undergraduate degree in business and finance. I could spend time writing Articles that are interesting and informative. I have a product (website) which has many unique features. However, my goal is to promote my website, which fulfills the needs of Temporary Short-Term Labor.
My major marketing tool is ZipLabor Organizations. I recuit local volunteer groups to promote my website and in exchange I share any fees collected. These Groups are not required to purchase inventory, collect mailing list, fill out paperwork, or do bookkeepping. There is no charge for the Groups to Register and ZipLabor Royalty Checks are distributed twice a year.
Swifmed, please tell me the subject of the Article you think I should write and who I should give it to for publications. Thanks, JBM.

To answer to your questions, try to see analogy what is happening in the real world and figure out why some companies get big while the other stay small. Pretty much the same thing happens in the Internet. It's called social circle, IMO.

By sending emails to your friends. If you are really popular or have lots of friends, they will visit your site often. And make sure they have Alexa toolbar installed.

I will outwork them, but need help IDing Them
Hi pinkfluffybunny,
I Like your quote “outwork the other guys!”. That is exactly what I am trying to do.
Sometime, like in my case, it is hard to identify ‘the other guy’. ZipLabor is Temporary Short-Term Labor. The concept for the WebSite came to me during my retirement. When I was a business owner, home owner, rental property owner and spouse, I constantly found myself need some help, a helping hand. I would call friends, go to the Park to recruit some kid, went to unemployment office, ask friends the status of their kids, and stop and talked to the person holding the sign on the side of the street. These methods were not always successful or efficient.
So, I created the ZipLabor Website, where you can go to find a Qualified person to help you with your Task. I made the website secure for both the users (all users must have a referral) and the users date (safeguarding all data). I made the website efficient (low cost) and effective (easy to search).
So, Who is my completion (the other guy)? It is not the Monster website because they are in the full-time employment market. It is not the chat website, because they don’t concentrate on Tempoary Short-Term Labor and they have inefficient ways to search for Tasks to Do and People to Do those Tasks.
Pinkfluffybunny, please help me Identify ‘the other guys’.

work daily at content creation for a good solid month, this will give you a great base to work from, once you have a decent amount of content then start promoting your site. there is no point in promoting a site that has nothing there, your bounce rate will be 100%

Lol! Do that and you really get the hits but no sales. Or maybe you can just place adsense there and see what happens.

good content cause it would create viral effects. but before expecting viral effect you need to promote your site first. article submission, forum posting, blog comments or video marketing can help a lot in generating traffic.

Judging By his statement It looks like he is the designer / owner of the site, I'm sure if you PM him, he would supply that info to you.

There no secret to it. Your site just has to be unique in its approach to the users with unique content which has to be informative and relevant. Remember to do something out of the box for the site. You also have to be in the top positions in the SERPs to benefit highly from the online visitors through proper ongoing SEO.

Thanks for all the great suggestions. The main answer (with many subanswers) is content. We have grown almost every day because of changing our content (and about 1000 other things including accessibility) Thanks to all, ZipLabor.

Why are you depending on Alexa Rank? In my point of view, Alexa Rank is not a big deal for me... Backlinks, traffics from SEs is what matter most to me.

Always add some eye-catching topic to your site. People will love to visit your site if they can get useful information.

I agree with him, not only SE "spiders" needs a quality content, but also HUMANS. Having good content + proper SEO = Tons of traffics!

the secret? i don't think that there is no secret anymore in getting traffic, what you really need to ask is what are you offering to the "people" on why they need to visit your website.
Always remember that in the internet marketing world "First impression Lasts"
and by the way, alexa ranking is a crap
