How To Find Out Who Owns What Domains
This rather useful service costs, unfortunately, but might save time if you need to trawl through multiple whois records.

Registrant Search allows anyone to search through this massive whois database using a registrant name, email address, physical address, or phone number to return a list of domains that have that search term in it.
|
PS: I have no association with it.

It appears that they are are charging for what is already free. Granted they claim to have the largest Whois database, But isn't there free Global whois databases zoned in regions that are free?
Basically, it sounds like they combined all the free whois Global database zones into one database for convenience (Meaning you can search in one location for a small fee rather than having to go to different zones in order to get the information for free).
I suppose this may be a good service for individuals that are pressed for time or simply hate having to access a different regional whois zone to find out about a domain.
It's Amazing what sells these days.

They were whois.sc previously, the best whois service IMO. They have provided such subscription service for a long time.

I also use http://whois.domaintools.com/.
It shows who's the owner of the domain and some information about the site (established and expiration date, links, relevant sites, etc.)

Thanks peter_d, this is one functionality I have been looking for, for a very long time. This is the first reverse whois I have seen giving you a complete list of domains owned by a specific company or owner. Absolutely fantastic, just a pitty you should pay to get the results But I guess with noone else thinking of doing the same, what shall we do?

Ghouri, you do not understand. This is not just a WHOIS service. It is a reverse WHOIS. You can therefore type in a owner's name and it will actually give you a list of all domains owned by that person. I am not aware of any other WHOIS service that offers this.

Sometimes it's hard to know who owns the domain because privacy is enabled, but I use who.is to check most domains
