How do people have their blogs(sites) join a network?

There are many networks out there (ex. 9rules.com etc.)

Does anybody here know how to get a blog or site accepted within these networks.

And what are the disadvantages and advantages?

Has anyone here been successful in doing that?

Hi you can join this blog network simply by filling out the sign up form, as easy as 1,2,3.

I think the advantage is in starting your own network. Being a part of one doesn't seem to be a big help IMHO.

blog network could be the best place to share your products and services. it makes you noticeable in the blogsphere by paying more attention to bigger organization. if you are just starting a blog, you can try the blogger, typepad and wordpress. myblog is a site on which you can join in a network. or you may click the link about blog network.

i would imagine with a a well-liked network, that people give credibility, could most definitely help increase traffic as well as a loyal audience... with quality content of course ;D

Agreed here in 100% , unless you are the top 10% in popularity in your segmentation of blogosphere it will most likely help you minimally. It'll take sometime, but starting your own network will definitely give you more of a boost then anything else.

I'm fairly certain that the blogs of 9rules are asked to join, after establishing themselves. I'm not positive though, so please don't quote me. I mean, it, I had better not see any blockquotes below this post.
