You could try starting a blog for your products, use everything everyone has suggested and be sure to make links in between them like a spider web. You may not see instant results but in the long run you'd be ok

One site I've used is <affiliate for crappy url removed>. You can get 365 days of free advertising. A lot of my hits to my site come from this advertising

Not sure if that's the same as Responsive Hits 4 U? ... used this service for a while, takes a long time to build up enough sponsored e-mails credits, but you can publish a very nice page yourself, once you have enough credits. Can't say for sure, how effective it is in bringing you targeted traffic (or volume of traffic) ... but it seems to get good reviews.

I would not advice ppc marketing for a newly launched product.

I for myself am helping out in marketing a newly launched <not the place to spam your site> for marketers, accountants, and small business startups.

Software promotion:

1. Free classifieds can provide tiny help - anyway, submitting the product to one of them won't hurt.

2. Software download archives. I won't publish them here, if you are interested, pvt me, I will give you the list (free of charge of course

3. Affiliates. I recommend ShareIt.

4. If I knew the exact niche of your software, I would have given some advice concerning the keywords.

5. B2B sites.

6.Software directories - submit your software there (surf google for them).

7.Articles. Well, to tell you the truth they are of no value.

8.Press releases. Yes, they can help.

9. Start a blog - no direct advertising on it, look for instance at the seoquake blog. No ads like "Cheap but quality...." or "The best of the best...". Be brief and informative of the new updates.

10. Software conferences/shows. Not for free.

11. Keep adding content on your website.

12. Google AdSense - a contribution with the above mentioned methods.

13. The last recommendation - giveawayoftheday.com Release a free version of any of your software and place it here.

Sorry man I haven't given any links to software archives or directories here - it is not the software seo forum, you know. Anyway, if you are desparate, pvt me. I myself was looking for a long time for the ways of promoting a software, so got some experience in here.
