Still Worth it, Not worth it?

Maybe google/yahoo/msn are taking longer than usual, but I'm not seeing exceptional results.

A well written article on high demand topics can generate many links. I don't think the links have great value due to duplicate content issues but flows some juice.

I suggest that the articles you write be teaser articles that you link to a larger more informative article to finish the topic that is hosted on your site. That way you can get some traffic if you create some interest in the subject.

Good way to get some deep linking going on.

This is exactly the way to do this. I watched a loans website grow on almost nothing but article submissions. The articles submitted to the directories were shortened versions of what could be found on the website. The submitted articles themselves never appeared on the website.

Articles are still in very good use in the internet. As long as there are schools and researches, the need of quality articles will keep on coming.

Just try to make the article as uniquely as possible and do the suggestions that the others have said. Make an introduction of your article that will get the attention of readers. Submit those first paragraphs to directories and article sites and link it back to your site if they wanted to continue reading.

Where are articles submitted?

I have several series of articles (with each posting in a series link from one to the next at the bottom of the article), but have no idea where articles are published?

As I said, I am really really new at this.

Most high volume sites on home renovations are run by TV shows or magazines which only want their own articles.

Thanks for your collective guidance.

In my opinion if the article is original and on a niche subject it will definitely helps in improving the pagerank.

Thank you, Futo.

I didn't even know of such things. I continue to feel like a newbie, but perhaps in time will start to consistently get more than 20 visitors a day!

Thank you for the link and google search suggestion!

Thank you swapw and also to george_wm.

My blog (can't show the link / URL yet since I don't have 50 posts here ) but is all about articles on home renovation experiences as well as pictures and slide show of pictures. So, I think article posting on other sites should help.

Thanks, again!

I have started to use those two sites to post some of the articles from our blog.

Then a thought just occured to me.

What are other article posting sites do others use? Which are your favorites and why?

Many thanks!
