An SEO service may be able to give you traffic after your PPC money is spent, or are you talking about a monthly budget rather than one -off?

I vote for PPC. And here's why:
1. These days it's hard to even get in second page on SE, e.g. Google. As Google officially announced recently, there's a huge increase in number of people not going to the second page of SERP. So, it's hard work.
2. PPC via AdWords will deliver you targeted traffic and visitors that are indeed interested in your content. If you have quality content on your website, visitors are most likely to bookmark it, and/or to recommend it to friends. By doing that hundreds of times, SEO and good SERP positioning will come automatically. Maybe you should only include some basic, cheap SEO in your budget, just to have the basis.
And it's not true that minimum budget of PPC is 1000$. I run AdWords with a monthly budget of 100$, and I am quite satisfied with it.
All the best,
Bogdan

As for SEO service, I would go with seoinfotech.com which has quite a good reputation. To be honest, I've never heard of seo499.

For that budget you can get a decent SEO person. Try forums.seochat.com I found some very good SEO there.
SEO will help you get traffic for long time, whereas ppc will give you none after you spend your money.

Never heard of seomatrix.com, but I would love to give them a bit of paid SEO advice Same goes for seoinfotech.com.
Is this a monthly budget? What is your knowledge of SEO? If this is a monthly budget I would seriously suggest that you look at SEO instead of any other campaign. I would also suggest spending that budget on link building instead of once off advertising. Further more, what is your product?

This really depends on what you're selling. If you are just trying to do an affiliate product, there's no reason to SEO it since there's not much substance to the site anways.
If you are launching something long term then your best bet is to go with SEO service. Depending on your keyword and competition, my partners and I may get you to the top spot. This is no bluff in anyway, PM me if you're interested.

I posted an inexpensive offer in the services section of this forum:

As for PPC vs. Organic . PPC is a nice addition to any campaign. If you can profitably run a PPC campaign why stop? That said organic campaigns tend to deliver a higher ROI. But money is money so why do just one. SEO should be part of your marketing plan, not its entirety.

PPC can be great over the short term, but SEO is far more cost effective over the long-term. Depends how serious you are on developing your online business.
