A good start is to check out various forums around the web and find out what your interest is first. When you figure that out, you're already half way there! Doing something you like is extremely important.

I would suggest signing up with some trainning about internet marketing.There a lot of affiliate program you can join and teach you how you can become an internet marketer expert.

Try to look for someone to mentor you, or at least someone who knows there stuff so you can ask questions. I find that very helpful.

online marketing is not easy method to improve the traffic to your site and the same way not that much complex.what you need to do you is just study the net,i mean SEO what makes you to put your site at the top of the search engines.web2 technologies will help in that matter and just register in some of the blogs and post your comment ,i neednot say anything about it,you will get a lot of stuff available in net itself but do remeber its a hard nut to crack ,you need to wait patiently for the traffic and moreover you need some tactics to advertise your site in the forums else you will be banned,i just started online marketing few days back and i see few traffic to my site [link removed] but i am confident that waiting patiently will give me a fruitful result i believe and i see its been increasing gradually

Online coaching to learn internet marketing is a very good thing to do, as long as the person who is doing the coaching has allready made millions online and is genuine.

Another good way is to find a program in the form of easy step by step videos that teach you the basics like:

Editing a web page,
html,
Meta tags,
Links,
Keywords and how and where to put them,
Titles,
Headlines,
Copy pages,
SEO,
List building,
Affiliates,
How to get free traffic,

Etc etc. I can offer some free videos that show parts of an entire program from the web address below to give you an idea of what you need to know.

It may seem complicated but once you know how to do it, it really is easy. But until you know it's almost impossible to find out in my view.

A good place to start is affiliate marketing because you need no product of your own, you get some promotion tools, the web page is set up for you etc. However if you know a bit more you could improve the lead capture with an opt-in page and optimise the page to improve search engine rankings, which can be learnt from my free videos as well.

Lastly there are so many offers about that there is a danger of buying and reading all of them and not actually getting any work done to make any money, so watch out for that. Work on one thing at a time that is in the direction and alignment with your goals, then move on to the next thing in your learning and applying.

Earning money online is easy. However it requires some proper guidance as you are new to it. Firstly be clear about the money you are going to invest, as it is the greatest problem before starting the business. Earlier you should plan out the thing on paper. You should join any affiliate program if you required.

My opinion is at first read forum like V7n, DP, sitepoint etc. this is the one and only way to learn lots about internet marketing. and the most important thing is this is free. u don't have to spend a single cent for this. Ones u have some idea about internet marking then u can start building web site and earn money.

Internet is a huge filed and its have lots of opportunity to earn money. u can do Affiliate marketing, SEO, Web designing, blogging etc but remember just sticky with any one thing don't go here and there.

Making a descision is the key especially if you have 'information overload' which stops you from getting on. Making a descision frees your mind so that you can prgress forward.

There are so many offers on the internet it can get confusing. Affiliate marketing may be a good place to start as you need no product of your own or a website.
