Blog Commenting Avatar
When you post a comment on blogs there is a avatar appears on the right side of your comment.
You may already know, you can register a global avatar for an email address at gravatar.com
This is good way of promoting your website through blog commenting.
Some people also have avatar linked to their site. I don't know how they do it.

The link of the avatar will just go to the blogger profile right? Is there a way in order to edit the link and directly place the my website through that avatar?

I figured its up to the blog coder show the link on avatar or not.

There are a number of plugins to put your avatar, gravatar, mybloglog avatar or favicon in wordpress. Google them

Has anyone really tried this? Do you have any first hand knowledge to share of whether this is worth it or not? I am curious, I think I still don't fully understand it but it sounds like a good concept.
