How to sell through SEs

Had a conversation with John and came to this great forum.

I hope everyone is in high spirits. I've just launched the new version of my site http://www.juniors.net. I wanted you to analyse it from the Search ENgines perspective.

Further, I also wanted to know the scope and ways it has to sell its educational product through listing on Search Engines.

quick question, why are you not using any meta tags? those are a must for search engines.

Meta tags dont make any difference. Google doesnt even use them. Anchor text links are all that matter, and then some good content SEO for certain engines, and copyrighting to keep people on the site :-)

Even though Google may or may not use Meta Tags, you should still be using them - If not for Googlebot - then for all others.... Remember, Yahoo! is acting real primitive right now - I can almost gaurantee their using them.... :wink:
